The hotel was in a delightful market town, steeped in history yet comfortably adapted for 21st-century travelers. My room was beautiful, clean, and spacious, although it could have done with a table light. The location was excellent, right in the center of town with a nice courtyard to sit and have a drink.
The hotel has just undergone a refurbishment, so the rooms are now done to a high standard. However, the distance from the reception can be a bit of a hassle, especially when lugging heavy bags around. The rooms are very comfortable and well laid out.
