Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was in a delightful market town, steeped in history yet comfortably adapted for 21st-century travelers. My room was beautiful, clean, and spacious, although it could have done with a table light. The location was excellent, right in the center of town with a nice courtyard to sit and have a drink.
The hotel has just undergone a refurbishment, so the rooms are now done to a high standard. However, the distance from the reception can be a bit of a hassle, especially when lugging heavy bags around. The rooms are very comfortable and well laid out.
The hotel is located in a lovely area of Northamptonshire, offering a fantastic central location with easy access to amenities. The rooms are clean and up to an acceptable standard, but dining options may leave some room for improvement. The service is exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The room had its quirks like being next to a noisy fire door and above heating pipes, but it was generally okay. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The location was convenient and allowed for easy access to other areas. The dining experience had its ups and downs, but overall, it was a decent stay at the hotel.
I was thrilled with my stay at the hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, offering plenty of storage space, although a bit small and overly warm. The service was impeccable, with the staff being incredibly attentive and accommodating. The location was ideal for my visit, and the dining experience was mostly enjoyable, though some dishes were not up to par.
I stayed in the lovely Barnwell Suite overlooking the courtyard. The room was clean and comfortable, although a bit small due to the old building's restrictions. Despite the charming view, noise from the courtyard coffee shop during a late-night event was a downside.
